Carla Natascha’s heart has always belonged to the rhythms of her Latin American homeland. She was born and raised in Santa Cruz de la Sierra (Bolivia) and in Con-Con (Chile). Her international character stems from her South American–Austrian heritage.
The spirited Austro-Latina, known for her unique performances, powerful voice, and joie de vivre, enriches the European music scene with her own songs and music productions.
In 2007, she founded her own band as lead vocalist, featuring highly renowned musicians from around the world. Her performances are a firework of energy and passion. With her various band formations, she is a welcome star at the traditional Hofburg Balls, as well as at European festivals and charity events. No wonder—her repertoire is international and includes well-known Latin American hits as well as her own compositions in genres such as Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Cha-Cha, Rumba, Bolero, Latin Pop, and much more. Her unique stage presence captivates audiences and takes them on a musical journey through Latin America.
In 2011, Carla Natascha recorded her first CD titled “Y Es Sólo Amor” (It Is Only Love). In March 2018, she released her new Latin album “Tierra Linda” (Beautiful Homeland), featuring mostly her own songs. Both CDs are now available on all online music platforms. (Label: REChord Sounds)
From an early age, Carla Natascha stood out in numerous performances for her singing and dancing talent, winning national singing competitions and participating in festivals in Brazil. On her journey to becoming the charismatic artist she is today, she completed advanced dance training in Bolivia and Brazil.
In Vienna, Carla Natascha studied jazz vocals at the Prayner Conservatory and perfected her vocal technique in solo singing. Alongside her studies, she auditioned at the Burgtheater, was immediately hired by the legendary theater director Peter Zadek, and went on to perform as a solo singer and dancer in several productions at the Vienna Burgtheater, as well as at the Salzburg Festival under renowned theater directors such as Martin Kušej and Stephan Kimmig. In the summer of 2017, she also performed at the MuseumsQuartier alongside entertainer Alfons Haider and stars like Gregor Glanz, Bettina Meske, Patricia Nessy, and Alex Herrig in a musical production.
